Grassholme Reservoir to Selset Reservoir

This is a simple and easy route which follows reservoir-side paths and tracks.  The way is over relatively flat ground with a single largish climb halfway through to offer walkers an excellent view of Lunedale.

Baldersdale Reservoirs

This is a great route which combines open moorland tracks and reservoir side paths.  It starts at the car park on the South side of the dam on Hury Reservoir.

Crummock Water

This route circles around the lake of Crummock Water, the source of the River Cocker. The route travels through wooded areas, along the lakeside, past Scale Beck, through the village of Buttermere and back.

This is a short route with some interesting terrain to traverse, a single steep ascent and some amazing views of the North Western Fells of the Lake District and Derwent Water.

Reeth to Fremington Edge

This is a relatively short route which offers some amazing views of Swale Dale and the valley surrounding Arkle Beck.  The route is initially field walking followed by a brief, but steep, ascent onto moorlands.

This route traverses quiet country lanes and footpaths between the villages of Whorlton and Hutton Magna. It is circular and mostly flat which allows for it to be followed however the walker feels fit.
